Ok. Here is a list I have compliled of things to ask moms and dads of twins when you encounter them. You should ask these questions when you see a stranger, preferrably in a stressed situation such as one baby screaming, pooping, or spilling something. Oooo its good in a restaurant too.
1. Are they twins?
2. Are they identical?
3. (Following response to question #2) They sure don't look idenitcal.
4. Were you trying for twins?
5. Do they sleep?
6. Glad its you and not me! (I'm glad its me and not you too!)
7. (You must say this one before you end the conversation or the parent won't get their nickel) Boy you have your hands full!!
Thankfully, I have never had a rude comment like I have heard others receiving. Most people would smile and tilt their heads and say "Awe, what a blessing". Apparently, my angel goes before me and hits people on the head and says "Hey! Tired twin mom ahead needs a blessing today!! So say something nice!"
